The Firm

About the Firm

Akkus Law is a boutique U.S. immigration practice representing companies, founders, professionals, and families in employment-based and family-based matters before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Labor, the Department of State, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The firm is built on a simple premise: strong immigration cases are built on records that are accurately assembled, clearly argued, and supported by evidence. Every petition is prepared to that standard.

Akkus Law handles the full range of employment-based and family-based immigration matters. Clients include companies at every stage, founders, professionals across industries, and families. There is no single profile the practice is built around. What clients share is a matter that carries real consequences for a career, a company, or a family.

Cases are handled directly by the attorney who prepares them. Strategy is discussed candidly — including where the record is weak and what it would take to strengthen it. Clients are told what a filing realistically requires in time, documentation, and cost before work begins.

Because U.S. immigration law is federal, Akkus Law represents clients nationwide and works with individuals and companies abroad on filings before U.S. agencies and consulates. The firm serves clients in English and Turkish.

The Attorney

Aybuke Akkus

Managing Attorney

Aybuke’s clients tend to describe the same thing: she tells them what she actually thinks. She will say when a case is strong, when more work is needed, and what it would take to put it in the best possible position before a filing begins, rather than after.
